MPD is pehaps the most intriguing condition in psychiatry. Sometimes it is called Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Does anyone on psycho-babble have MPD?

Hi Lazarus. Thank you for responding to my post. Dissociative Identity Disorder is rarely discussed on babble, please could you tell me a little more about your condition. It's ok if you don't want to though, I know it's very personal.
Kind Regards,
Ed.

My form of Dissociative Identify Disorder comes and goes.
I know I'm experiencing it when, speaking with others, I think to myself, "Why are you talking to me?" I feel like they're talking to a stranger, not me. So, it's during conversation that I feel it the most.

Hi,
Do you have several distinct identities?

I have three distinct personalities. They all have the same name. I have no control over who dominates at any one time.
My pdoc thinks I was sexually abused as a child but I can't remember anything like that.
Overall, I find happiness elusive, no matter how hard I try to experience it.
I hope I have been of help to you.
