Any of you who have been on Nardil awhile feel that either your long-term memory is not quite what it used to be or that you have a more difficult time remembering circumstances, experiences, and etc. from your past (particularly from your while-you-were-still-on-Nardil past)?
i've really been feeling like this is the case with me. i still have no way of knowing for sure though. i'm not sure if it's Nardil, stress, just a result of getting older (i'm 24), or some other undetected factor, or some combination of the above. i really feel like i have a tough time remembering things that have occurred in the past year or two or so, compared to what i was able to remember when i was in highschool or early college.
What do you think? i'm worried that this is a real side effect and that its effects will last a lifetime (not necessarily that my memory will be poor for life even if i get off of it, but that i will never be able to recall certain years of my life as well as i should be and would have been able to)... a real side effect that goes unnoticed/unreported as a whole since it is so subtle.
Post Post: i think i also felt this way about Paxil when i was on it, but i can't remember if it felt as significant as now (hah-- see what i mean?). So maybe SSRIs can cause this as well (?), if it's a real phenomenon.

I don't remember having any effects on my memory (sorry, just couldn't resist.) But seriously, no, I have not noticed any changes. I would imagine that would be upsetting.

Nardil affected my short-term memory negatively. Also, my concentration somewhat.

Thank you for your replies. i appreciate it.
Any other current or former Nardil users care to say whether they experienced the aforementioned effects on memory?

Nevertheless I have had worse memory problems while on Nardil but I dont know if this is realated to the klonopin or to the Nardil since I have taken both at the same time
