I've been told again that I suffer from PTSD not depression/anxiety by a respected infection control MD. He believes everything I tell him and runs all necessary tests. I've got recurring Lyme's Disease among a thousand bad things that have affected my health and lifestyle over the past 7 years. Benzos and SSRI's, Plus now Cymbalta have been Rx'd and I get worse instead of better. Can't get a talk therapist as no good ones are in the area, but continue to hunt for one out of the area. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I was dx'd with PTSD about 2 months ago. Started on Effexor XR and Klonopin at night. The Effexor is just kicking in in the last 2 weeks and I am feeling much better, symptoms are definitely decreasing. So far so good...
