Wellbutrin makes me really agitated and angry I love this med but with a husband and 3 children I can't put them through these "episodes" I have while taking it. My question is does any one know if I take 150mg of Wellbutrin and 5mg of Lexapro if that will be enough to control the anger and not kill my libido? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

HI, I seem to be able to respond to just too many of these posts tonight!! I really don't usually do this, but I want to answer if I can. At one time I did take welbutrin and lexapro together...you can do that. I took 150mg of welbutrin and 20mg of lexapro....10mg first, then up. It's a good combination, I just thought the lexapro killed my sex drive, you may want to try 10mg and see what happens. I felt great, the anxiety was gone.....but lexapro won't work for me at all. Welbutrin makes me a witch, (ask me family) I am asking my dr. to get me off of it soon. I don't know what he will give me, because I don't want to gain weight. Lexapro will do that with a high dosage. I hope everything works out. Good luck. -L
