ativan's mood stablizing properties? does it

I read from a source Ativan has some mood leveling effects, in calming mania, and psychotic patients.

Do all the rest of the benzo's have these properties or this is its own unique effect.

Benzo's in general can be used for acute manic episodes. However, ativan seems to have more antimanic properties than the others.

Ie Xanax *can* cause euphoria.
