What is difference between cymbalta and effexor for sleep. I sleep good on ssri meds, trouble with effexor. Cymbalta any better?

Speaking only for myself, I'm falling asleep very easily -- too easily, if you consider I can't stay awake until the end of the last TV show of the evening -- but I am waking up very early in the morning. I'm on both Cymbalta and Wellbutrin, though, and the Wellbutrin is my suspect for the early waking. I don't remember waking up early on the Cymbalta alone.
I hope that helps.

Hard to predict for any individual as to how they will react to any medication but overall, Cymbalta is more noradrenergic than Effexor. Therefore, in theory it should be more stimulating. Oddly, Cymbalta seems to give people afternoon drowsiness but I think that tends to go away with time.
