I know what everyone is saying about withdrawals on SSRI's and SNRI's. I was on Paxil since 1992 when the drug first came out. I came off of it with my Dr's help "tapper down method over a month's time and yes I have the electrical shock sensations. In fact I'm on a new sNRI called Cymbalta I have been on it for a month and 2 days off I am having them.

Yeah, they're strange things!
The only time I got them on withdrawal from a drug, was Paxil. I had never had them, otherwise. But I'm now getting them on STARTING Tryptophan!.

How much Cymbalta were you taking, and why did you come off it? Phillipa

I had zaps when I reduced by Nardil dosage from 75 to 60mg recently. However, I never experienced them when I withdrew from Paxil.maddog
