What info does anyone have on a stimulant of some sort? Can't get to appts, can't get NDLs (normal activities of daily living) done. So overwhelmed with m.d. (lactose intolerant, IBS, prob' CFS, maybe ADD, and specific physical issues), P & T appts, and groups. I missed 3 appts today. One cost $30 for missing. I don't have much $. Anything can buy at regular store; won't highly increase anxiety, and can take w/ my AD? Re: ADD, P (don't like him-switching) just asked me if ran in fam'..that'all?! Does not. Drowning in necessary commitments; no energy to keep going. I know I'm a pain in the rear-end, but if anyone has an idea, I'll be awaiting. Try be well, cf

You need to find ways to reduce your demands. Using stimulants to keep up to an overdemanding lifestyle (unless only temporary) could lead to problems.
Using antidepressants/stimulants in these situations only helped me in that they gave me the guts to cut down on the demands and help me recognise what I needed to let go of.
Counselling of any sort, can do this just as well.
Take it easy, you will find peace somehow.

Counseling is rigid DBT; no free-flow communication, and cannot see another counselor for this as 'not allowed under state guidelines and conflict of interest.' An hour after my counseling is a 2-1/2 hr study group. Then, on Fri there is a 2-1/2 hr free-flow communication group. Physical therapy, at-home charting of everything move or do or don't make, pain clinic, 8 wks of in-hospital procedures, appt. w/ new specialists. Eligibility appts for new year coming up. I can't see anything can be cut out. tks anyway rv

If you are suffering from these problems and a mental illness, you may be eligable for certain in home assitants, I don't know. But I do know there are options for people in your position.
You live in the states ??

Yes, in states, AZ.
Tks suggestion. Over the poverty level w/ my SSD, actually bad thing. Don't take very good enough (at least for this perfectionist) care of self, broke, blue. I've researched and they would cost $.
Usually very good housekeeper, bill payer, hygiene; but still deep grieving, much fatigue, panic attacks that wear me out.
My MOTHER (the same one that dis'd me after Dad passed) left me a message this a.m.?! She will give me $400 to bring ckg acct current. Lost status by advancing max ($400) from forthcoming SSD $. This due to granddaughter needing baby supplies for her 1st child.
I'm going to stop some med treatments ($! Time!)until DBT down to 1-1/2 hrs a week.
Realize I am not capable 'at this time' of so much 'unhappy dealings' on plate; adding 'happy dealing' would prob' do wonders .. ya' know feeling I've accomplished, up the self-esteem.
They have a program in my state mental health system for employment, and today caseworker put me in referral to that.
And, ya' know, I'm such a perfectionist; I shouldn't put such pressure on self. Can keep dishes done. I take out garbage.
But, priority is DBT, daily diary card, 1 hr therapy, 2.5 hr group, and 1 hr free-talk group a week.
Hope PCP will 'be cool' and let physical/medical issues wait.
DBTs last approx 9mos. After you graduate, you may choose to go to once weekly 'keep up' groups. Then, I'll plan 'repair the body.' My plan.
