Hello, I am a 28 year old man. Can somebody breakdown to me a relation between the dose of Effexor taken and the positive or negative aspects sexually with it. For example at 75MG a day and at 150MG a day Ejaculation takes forever and I mean forever. I have to literally concentrate beyond belief and only sometimes I get lucky. The pleasure of Orgasm is nill to none. Now I've heard that people taking a higher level of Effexor XR at 200MG and above seem to have this problem go away. Can anybody else relate to this or is the sex life pretty much shot when it comes to higher doses.

Before raising the dose try augmenting it with some remeron, this has been proven to work fantasticlly..

im on 300mg a day and my sex life is fantastic, then again im 18.....you should try yohimbe works great for me.

Before reaching the 300mg dosage level did u have any sexual side effects at a lower dosage? Also, do u attribute the Yohimbe to be what is making your sex life great? Most people experience diminished libido and sex drive while on Effexor and I'm very interested to hear from anybody who is actually having a completely normal sex life. Have you experienced any sexual side effects at all since going on Effexor?
