Does it continue working well for SA these days ?!
I been on some Klonopin lately and made me very depressed. I just get courage to go out but no energy to talk and socialize. For me Klono is anti social!
Do you think that Lyrica can aggravate the depression that i already have, like the benzo?
It's amazing that it helps SA without any cognitive effects. Do not you feel sleepy through the day though?!
I just wondered if your SA was charactarized with physical symptoms or with very strong behavioral inhibition ?!
Thanks,
Kristel.

I have gained some weight from it unfortunately. Otherwise it is working good. Sometimes it makes me tired, not as much as a benzo tho. I am less depressed on it.

Now, without being specific as to what site from which Lyrica may be legally obtained, did you find it difficult to locate a European Union pharmacy which would legally fill a US prescription?
I have searched the net for such sites and cannot find them, so even were I to obtain a US prescription for Lyrica, it would seem rather difficult to fill.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Lyrica available in Canada. I'm sure you see where I'm going with that. Good luck with finding it, it really does look like a drug that could help a lot of us out there with anxiety.

Glad to hear your doing well jlb121.
I am definetly thinking of trying to get a prescription for my social anxiety.
I just wish more people on this board had tried Lyrica. I'm a bit reluctent to go on just one recomendation for a med because people react so differently.
I tried amisulpride because some people though it was great, but it did nothing for me.

Weight gain is turning out to be a big issue with pregabalin. It is not as much a problem as it is with Zyprexa, though.

I read an article a few days ago reporting weight gain with pregabalin as something being looked at prior to its final approval.

Wish more people were taking pregabalin, so I could get an idea of a full spectrum of responses.
Still at least we've got jlb121!> > > > I have gained some weight from it unfortunately. Otherwise it is working good. Sometimes it makes me tired, not as much as a benzo tho. I am less depressed on it.

Does anyone know when Pregabalin may be available in the US? I'm sure many have asked this before, but I don't remember a definite response. I really hope it is soon.
Thanks,
Justin

>Finally, I saw another pdoc yesterday, and he agve me plenty of Lyrica samples to begin with.
But first, I will wait for one week, because I also started Thyroid (T3) augmentation to boost the antidepressant effect of Nortriptyline. I dont want to start 2 differernt drugs at at the same time, so I will wait and see how I respond to T3, and will replace Neurontin with Lyrica then.bye bye
