I think I am getting stable!

Posted by Mike634 on November 1, 2004, at 20:56:24

I just wanted to share some good news. I have been on the following combination for about two months, and feel more stable than ever: lithium 1200, lamictol 200, and zyprexa 10.

I have been on cymbalta now for about 5 weeks. No real effect yet, but I am not having mania of any kind, which is a first. My mood is stable, my thoughts dont race, and my sleeping is perfect. The cognitive depression is still there, but not quite as bad. I think I have got about 60% of it solved, I just hope there is a solution to the last 40%.

But there is hope, you just have to have faith and a good doctor, I'l keep posting with how things go if anyone cares-just wanted to share my good news.

Hi:
I, too have gotten my Bp under control pretty well after many years, almost 6 years with a lot of struggle.

You need a faith and trust on your pdoc. and daily med. regimen. In addition, the research/med. including participation in M.I. support groups like here and others over Internet are both important. Because, the knowledge is VERY crucial once coming to M.I.
