Hi all,
I am about to embark on a trial of Lamictal for Bipolar 1 disorder. I tend toward the dysphoric, manic end of the spectrum. I have been using Zyprexa for more than four years now to combat my BP1 mania (its the only thing that ever worked), but find that I have little ambition and feel like I am in an emotional void on Zyprexa. Anybody else out there switch from Zyprexa to Lamictal? Were you able to discontinue the Zyprexa all together? How does the Lamictal make you feel -- or -- do you feel...anything...? All responses appreciated.

I added lamictal to the zyprexa. But reducing the zyprexa did not work, not to mention my doctor thought it wouldn't work to begin with.
This is the end of the thread.
