I think I have read here, and also experienced myself, that the doses do not correspond exactly between the different formulations, but no insert will fess up to it.
Does anyone have any information or ideas on the topic?

The more quickly the drug releases, the more often it needs to be taken each day. However, that doesn't mean that 1 x 300 mg of XL will have exactly the same effects as 2 x 150 mg of the SR, as the SR is still going to release faster. Different people may prefer different versions.
