Can AD's go stale?

Posted by saw on October 15, 2004, at 4:05:37

I started a new pack of Effexor XR 150mg this morning and I feel awful!! I feel like I did the first time I took Effexor. My stomach is cramping, I'm nauseous and the bloating is phenomenal.

I'm feeling spaced out yet sedated at the same time. I am yawning as if my life depended on it. I'm an effexor yawner anyway but, good grief! not like this.

I have a "lumpy" feeling in my chest and throat, almost as if I need to swallow down a piece of sponge. My vision is very jumpy and I'm trembling slightly.

The capsule looked the same but I'll only be able to check on the pack tonight. They came in a plain box as I requested less than a month's supply.

Is it possible that the new Effexor is fresher, making me feel as if I'm taking it for the first time? I've only been taking for 2 1/2 months.

Now to get through the rest of today!!

Sabrina

Does the box contain a experation date. Have you taken anything over the counter?

If the symptoms get real bad call a local pharmacy and talk to a pharmacist.

Or if your prescribing doctor is avialable and you are still having the symptoms talk to him or her.

Just be careful and monitor yourself closely.

Which the best.
