Last night was one of the worst nights so far. I know sweating, and cold sweats are a common side effect.
I shivered through the night but my whole body statyed quite wet with sweat.
It was just horrible.

>Hi Sabrina,
Most of Effexor & SSRI's are caused by excess stimulation of serotonin type 2A receptors (5-HT2A). Adding another drug that blocks these receptors eliminates these side effects(Night sweats, Insomnia, Anxiety & Anorgasmia). Such drugs are Remeron, Trazodone, most of the TCA's & most of the AP's. If you have the nausea side effect, Remeron is especially good as it blocks 5-HT3 receptors too.
Cheers,
Paul.
