I am attempting to locate a legitamate source for amisulpride. It appears that Sanofi-Synthelabo Lab in Italy no longer produces it as Solian. A websource I no longer remember said it was taken over by Sterwin Medecines, but their website makes no mention of it. Googling has generated no producers or suppliers so far. Any info. from current users? I would be very grateful, as this is my current 1st choice of my next drug trial during a 30 year history of wrestling with treatment resistant major depression. Thanks for any response! Sailor

There is no problem with Amilsupride (Solian). There was a fusion betwen Sanofi-Synthelabo and Aventis.
The new Sanofi-Aventis stil produces and markets Solian.

Hello,
I have some Amisulpride left over here. I can get it easily with a perscription here in Norway. It did absolutely nothing for me. In spite that Dopamine is involved in some aspects of mental wellbeing (reward, energy motivation and social functioning), it does not mean necessarily that having a dopaminergic would help these symptoms. I have took it for awhile with no results.
What sysmptoms you wanna treat with it?
As for anhedonia and associted sysmptoms, I can highly recommend physical exercise. It's a reliable way of increasing the sensitivity of the D3 receptor subtype of Dopamine. If you still wanna try a drug, you can try Selegiline at 5-10mg a day. It enhances the output of the Catecholamine system (Dopamine and Norepinephrine) and thus improve motviation and anhedonia.
Keep me updated.
BTW, I can get you at least 90 50mg tablets of it. E-mail me at xxx
hugs,
Christine
