Lyrica for pain?

Posted by lia mason on September 27, 2004, at 20:10:48

Hi...

This is only approved in the UK, but there have been some American studies. Wondering if anyone has tried it. It's about 6 months or so from US release in my doc's estimation.

Thanks!

There has not been a single post to psycho-babble regarding Lyrica's effects. I very much doubt it is for sale anywhere in the world. Seem's when a new drug is out, pbabbler's are the first to write about it.

It's available via a Canadian pharmacy and is approved and available in the UK. I've been hoping a UK person might post their experience. Or a US study participant. Guess I'll have to wait... The drug name is pregabalin.

STRANGE! My mom just received a script for it for her facial pain. I was trying to find out about all over the web....It's available in Germany.
I read at the Pfizer site that it was approved early Sept in the U.S.
It did not get approved for GAD....but who knows what the possibilites are even as a MS.
