Hi, I have been on and off antidepressants and anti-anxiety medications for the past five years to treat anxiety, depression, and OCD.
During this time I have developed some very weird symtoms in my memory. Most people say that they cannot remember and recall things as well on these medication. But my reaction is the total opposite. I have detailed memmories and flashes of things from a long, long time ago. But the problem is I do not control this memory recall. It just occurs constantly during the day.
I try to overlook this but it is just debilitating. The memmories are not bad they are just very detailed and descriptive that go way, way back and I cannot control them.
Is the medication (the addition of chemicals) in my brain causing this? Or could it be the anxiety disorder that produces this. Whatever it is it making me "crazier" than I already think I am.
Anyones comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS,
BRC
