I started on Zyprexa about three months ago but I haven't been able to come off Paxil completely. However I have managed to reduce it from 30 to 15mg per day. The depression is all but gone. This means I can now work. However my sexual drive which was already low because of Paxil has now completely disappeared. I am curious to find out if anyone else has suffered loss of libido because of Zyprexa. Is there an alternative to Zypreza?

Effexor took my libido away before the Zyprexa had a chance ... what are you getting it for and at what dosage. If its just for depression (as a boosting agent) then Seroquel is also used sometimes.

There is no alternative. I've tried everything but geodon, which my doc says would not work. He also says there is no alternative. I don't know what to say about sexual side-effects. I've had them since going clinical, and taking all kinds of different meds. My doc suggested skiping a days worth of meds, to get rid of the side-effects.
