hello there, amy...i thought i'd go ahead and change the subjenct line.....now, let me answer your thinly-veiled query about loratidine, above. i have taken the drug for years - 10 mg/day - and find that it has been effective for alleviating daily allergies, such at dust, cat dander, and so forth. many people i know do not care for it, as it is a rather ``light weight'' allergy med. however, it does work for me, and the generic OTC stuff is well-worth it. no drowsiness, as advertised. all the bet, and please do keep us informed about your trial of loratidine....all the best, chemist

hello there amy...i need several hours to find the information. scouring databases as i write this....apparently, the MBA receptors are agonised, leading to either an IRA/Roth or a full-chassis adjustment, depending on the DOHC (if present) or, failing that, and augmented Landau/Chateubriand. all the best, chemist

NOT the IRA/Roth, but Positraction is involved. And, just for anyone really interested in the full story -- the OED is probably the best source, but failing that I'd recommend almost anything by James Thurber.

Great thread -- just had to join ya.

IRA/Roth is a tax planning thing, the chassis and DOHC are car terms, and the "agonizing MBA receptors" is -- just a guess -- something *everyone* who's ever worked with a bunch of MBAs has really and truly and *deeply* wanted to do!

Which explains my post to the extent that it means anything beyond jumping into something that looked like fun and that made me laugh for the first time in a long time. OED is the Oxford English Dictionary -- the full story on words. I was trying to be funny, but hey -- Lit Major, "You want fries with that?" James Thurber was a funny writer -- "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", "Is Sex Necessary?" with E.B.White (their answer: not so much since the creation of crossword puzzles as I recall. VERY funny, but certainly a period piece -- a funny response to all the then-new Freudian focus on sex.)

And Positraction popped into my mind -- funny scene in the movie "My Cousin Vinny" included it, and the DOHC brought it bubbling up.

(Hey -- *not* thinking clearly at all today, no sleep, etc. I suspect you either knew most of that, or never wanted to. But you know? I just *had* to answer anyway. I hope that's OK, and if it's not -- I hope you'll understand...)

Promise never to tell: I was an accountant for a longish time. I'm pretty sure that tells you enough about how funny *I* am...
