SONATA side effects, please.

Hi,
i was for several months on clormetildiazepam (an xtralog emivite benzo) for sleeping prob, with lots of side effects:
drowsy day after, sedation, loss of energy and (first of all) loss of libido (heavy reduction of sexual functions).
Spoke to my doc, he sayd to switch to Sonata (zaleplom) an xtrashort emivite simil-benzo ( t1/2 = 1 h).
I've no experience about this med, could you share your experience in particular side effects of this med?
Every input will be appriciate and could be very helpfull for me!
