I'm on 20mg of Lexapro and don't feel like I'm getting the results I should. Another option my doctor talked about was beta blockers. Anyone have any experiences with them?

I have experience with a beta blocker for anxiety. I think what your doctor may be thinking of is that one of the beta blockers has been known to hasten the response to antidepressants. I forget which one it is - pindolol perhaps.

Hi, I dont know much about beta-blockers. But some ppl get good results from paxil for SAD. (if you can tolerate the side effects). I took it years ago and it worked for me. But I tried it again and it didnt help now. But if you have severe social anx. disorder, perhaps an MAOI might be good. My pdoc wont prescribe it to me bc she isnt that familiar with it. But some docs do.
