PMS treatments - Serenity?

Posted by CindyLou on July 26, 2004, at 8:56:06

Hello,
Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but I have found information on the Web about a product called "Serenity" for mood disorders and PMS. Has anyone heard of this? It claims to have and "inorganic" form of Lithium and something called Orotate. Any experience with this?

Also, I would love some information on any success stories with PMS treatments!

Thanks!
cindy

Don't know about Serenity..... I take Lexapro for PMDD ( the more vicious form of PMS ) and it has been worth all the initial se's, not to mention my insomnia is GONE!!~~~8|8

Would you mind saying what your PMDD symptoms were? And whether you have depression also?

It is great that you found something that works for you.

Symptoms - extreme road rage, feeling like I wanted to *kill* my husband just for breathing, bad attitude at work towards customers and the boss ( got several write ups ), uncontrolable fits of anger, and generally feeling like I was on my period 3 weeks out of 4. Also dx w/depression, possibly brought on from years of birth control pills, and the horrible INSOMNIA.

Had you tried other AD's prior to the lexapro.
And, if so, did you have any trouble with them?

Sorry to interrupt, but I'd like to redirect follow-ups regarding Serenity to Psycho-Babble Alternative. Here's a link:
