how can you tell you AD is working

I was just wondering how everyone can gauge how their antidepressant is working. It's been quite some time since I have not been depressed, I was kind of wondering what little things people have noticed when things were getting better.

I know I'm not depressed when music sounds good again.

One sure thing is if you are watching TV and something really funny is on and you begin to laugh and enjoy what your are watching. Another sign is that you have more energy to do things that usually interests you or that you have been meaning to do like cleaning the garage or mow the lawn. Lastly, you are not as irritable, require less sleep, can think more clearly and not feel overwhelmed.
