I blame the effexor for the cause of my severe anxiety ever since i started to take that for my depression i still blame it to this day 3 half yrs later i really do... i want to know what it does does it release block wat? and wat does the exact opposite i know i have asked this before but i really need to know so i can chat with my doc about trying other meds that does opposite to effexor aslong as it aint an ssri and i know snri's and any norph releases wont be the answer cus they a bit like effexor.. then i can try it..

Are you sure you aren't bipolar?? Does the speedy feeling last for weeks or did it only last for a little while & taper away?

>Have you discussed being bipolar with your gp & pdoc? Maybe that's why the pdoc prescribed you the Fluanxol? It would cover bipolar & anxiety, but I don't blame you for not wanting to take that one.

Not an issue really. I realized that I was assuming that everyone who wrote something very technical was male (despite the fact that there are so many female doctors, pharmacists and scientists and despite the fact that I always did well in science). So then I started looking at the board with that in mind. After I sent the response I realized that it could be taken the wrong way. It really wasn't meant as accusatory - just food for thought.
