My husband and I are both on Lexapro and Prozac, and we have both been extremely drowsy for the past few months. We seem to have ruled out almost everything else, and have even been on weight-loss diets (low carbs, no sugar), so we should be *less* sleepy, I would think. Both of us feel as though we could doze off at just about any point in the day--even within a few hours of rising. I took a three-hour "nap" yesterday afternoon. Suddenly felt completely overcome with drowsiness.
We don't feel "tired" so much as we feel sleepy. It's not a depression-sleepy, either; we are both doing extremely well on this combination of meds.
Prozac always made me feel a bit too "up", but with the Lamictal it is working so well, I feel I should spread the word. The sleepiness thing, though, is a serious problem. What to do?
This is the end of the thread.
