Try this site http://www.drugs.com/xq/cfm/pageID_1151/qx/index.htm

It can be helpful in identifying a pill based on color, markings, etc.

I checked rxlist.com which is the most extensive database on most imprint codes, and didn't come up with anything relevent. However, i googled the web and found this on a site from someone asking the same question :

"Is the pill oblong in shape with a score line down the middle? If so, it may be Oxaprozin 600mg by Eon Labs. Oxaprozin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug."

If this is correct, this is the generic version of the drug "Daypro" which is used for Arthritis and doesn't seem to have abuse potential, if that is your concern.., it could be comparable to drugs like Aleve or Advil, for example.

Hope this helps

Kind Regards,

Cal a pharmacist or go to cvs and look for a book called the pill book which has pics and etc.

The link I placed below should take you to the General discussion board at rxlist. Many people post to ask what a pill is that they couldn't find in any of the main identifiers, including rxlist's own. You can search in it too. It is the only thing that finally gave me my answer when I had received a generic of something for the first time and just wanted to verify it. When the pill wasn't described at any of the main identifiers, I put the numbers/letters and other keywords maybe into slots in a Google advanced search, and after so much effort it lead me right to the following and an immediate answer.

http://www.rxlist.com/rxboard/general.pl

(If that is not the General board for any reason, navigate to it. I don't think one of the other, drug-specific discussion boards would have worked.)

Can you possibly ask your son about the pill?
If it is a potential problem then perhaps speaking with him directly would be the best answer. This way he knows that he can talk to you about it.
