Hi.
Risperdal (risperidone) is a neuroleptic antipsychotic similar to Haldol and Zyprexa.
What symptoms are you trying to treat?
What symptoms is Klonipin an effective treatment for?
IMHO, many doctors are unjustifiably resistent to using benzodiazepines. This is especially true in Britain. You might need to search for a more enlightened pdoc, depending on which direction your treatment is headed.

to answer your questions-
Have have psychotic eposodes, but I not have schizophrina -therefore a low does of risperdal was brought up.(my older brother is schizophric)
I have panic attacks and angoraphobia, which I want the klonipin for but they will not write the scripts. I have major depression-therefore the 20 mg of lexapro and doc is thinking about adding remeron in low dose w/ that on my next visit, because she just upped my lexapro last visit.
