This is my second line of action if Remeron doesn't work...
So far Remeron has made me happier but has made my oCD worse (which can be a good sign- sometimes a drug that works for OCD makes it worse at the beginning!)
So anyone tried or have comments on MAOI + Tramadol??I know people have been on this combo before...

i really did not think the Remeron-Nardil combination would be harmful (unless maybe you & your doc were completely careless and automatically started out on 45 or 60mg or something), but thIS sounds dangerous. Isn't Tramadol a moderately potent SRI (among other things)? If so, this is one of the most dangerous drug classes (serotonergics) that you can combine with an MAOI, except for maybe an NE agonist. i think you should pass on this one, man.

This would be essentially like taking SSRI or SNRI, which is supposedly the formost contraindication for MAOI's. I personally would think this is a big no-no.

AFAIK, Tramadol is an SNRI with some opiate receptor blocking abilities, so it would be bad.
