One of the few SSRIs I haven't taken is Lexapro (escitalopram), which I believe is the isomer of Celexa (citalopram).
So whats the big advantage with Lexapro over the other SSRIs?? How is it better than Citalopram?
Is it sedating (like Seroxat) or stimulating (like Prozac)??
Also is it licensed in Britain?
Any information would be appreciated!!!
Thanks!

It caused less sedation for me than Celexa. But some people like Celexa more than Lexapro.
I would think that it is available in Britain but I don't know for sure. In Europe it is generaly not called Lexapro (I forgot escitalopram's name in Europe).
Prozac is generaly more activating than Lexapro or Celexa.

The biggest advantage that Lexapro has over Celexa is that it makes that drug company a lot more money. :)

Yes, I found Prozac to be much more stimulating/activating than Lustral (Zoloft in the US)
Thanks!
