how long do the side effects last for lamictal? i figured that if they hadn't gone away by 6 weeks that i should give up. but some postings here lead me to believe that it takes longer for the side effects to disappear, and it would be worth waiting.

I am on Lamictal 200mg. Each time we increased the dose by 25mg every other week I would experience muscle soreness, anxity and agitation. This would subside after a week. Now that I am at my 200mg dose I am feeling so much better. I still have muscle soreness and occasional headaches but they are worth it to me. What is your dose? What kind of side effects are you having?

i'm on 200mg w/ s/e of midday sedation so bad i feel the need to nap. and an uncomfortable come down in the evening. lately i've seemed to stop both by biting pieces off 100mg tabs about 8 to 10 times a day. but this is somewhat a pain.
