Social Disinibition/Motivation

Posted by geno on April 14, 2004, at 2:47:27

Hi, im not sure if my last post went through last week, but ill touch up on some stuff. Due to my past drug addiction, mainly ghb and oxycontin, over 4-5 yrs, my brain is a bit fried, well i hope not, but i was sober, just taking zoloft 100mg for 8months. Well, i still didnt feel right. I lacked motivation, crativity, i didnt go out, didnt want to do much or be around people.

So i relapsed again on pain meds.Opiates just made me feel right, all the above , you name it.
So i kicked an oxy 240mg a day habbit with 4 medications. So far, i feel pretty darn good and its only been about 1 month.
I take Buprenorphine, which is a partial opiate blocker, and agonist also, so your brain is still getting some opiates. It worked great for withdrawls and depression, but still i didnt have that kick i needed, and felt anxious.
So i was perscribed lexapro, tapering off zoloft, and klonopin 3mg a day split. For some reason benzos dont cut it addiction wise, so im not afraid to take em. I never take more than perscribed.
Then a new doctor perscribed me adderall with the suboxone for add. Boy that really seemed to kick things up alot. I found myself at my computer all night long, concetrating, doing work, a bit social. NOT high, but feeling nice. Speed is not my think either, but i feel the klonopin takes away any anxiety fom the adderall, and the adderall picks me up from any sedation the other meds may cause.
Last is Elavil. Im gonna do a new post on elavil vs remeron.

I feel like im above water, finally have a med combo where im not constantly craving dope, or just laying around.
