My Hands Hurt!!!

Posted by Bob on April 4, 2004, at 14:10:34

I am taking 10mg Celexa, 450mg of Eskalith (Lithium), and recently upped a dose of Welbutrin from 50mg SR, to 150 XR (the new tablet). Now, every day when I wake up, my hands are stiff and achey. They also feel swollen, but don't really appear to be. I am very worried that I might be heading down a path towards permanent hand/joint pain. My best guess is Welbutrin as the culprit, as that's the only thing I have increased in dosage lately. Has anyone else experienced hand pain like this?

Several days into Wellbutrin, my feet, ankles and legs started to swell and ache (edema). Also, I am now dealing with pain in my lower back. I would guess Wellbutrin to be the culprit.

If it is edema, or the same problem you had, do you think there's any relief to be had, other than discontinuing the Welbutrin?
