I have found out that there is one long lasting stimulant available in Australia.
I am seeing my doctor on Monday should I ask him to switch me from Dexemphatamine which I take 10mg three times a day.Dexemphatimes are covered by the PBS and I pay something like aud 21 for 100 pills whereas Ritalin is not covered and the cost is 3 times more then dex.
I have tried the short acting ritalin but it seemed to last 2 hours.
I will like to know whether anybody has tried short acting dexemphatamines and Ritalin LA
and what was there experiences with it.

I haven't tried LA but I have taken Concerta, same drug but with a curious delivery. I find it much more helpful than Ritalin. Its good to have in the arsenal but dex or adderall put me in a more motivated and more cheerful state of mind.
