I take generic adderall 30mg and it cost me $55 for 30 pills. I dont have insurance and my Pdoc told me to see if i can get it online somewhere? How would i order a schedule 2 drug online with a Triplicate form? it seems weird that she would suggest this when its printed on the triplicate that it must be filled within 5 days of when it was wrote. Has anyone switched from adderall to provigil? i know i can i order that from canada without a script and i would save money. I just dont know if it would be as effective.

it's doughtful that you could obtain a sch class 2c med like adderall-via mail order or canadien....and besides provigil is really not a good comparison to adderall -prvig is a psychostim but does'nt act the same as adderall. unless your primary dx is ADD then I beleive that the adderall has many benefits over provigil. When I used to take 20mg of adderall t.i.d. I would pay anywhere between $125 to 145 per 90 day supply and one other thing...every body metabolizes these meds so differently... my pdoc tried me on adderallxr and the supposed all day benefits only lasted 3-4 hours However YMMV.
BTW that does appear to be a very good price compared to what I paid for my 30mg adderallxr-I think it was almost $90 for 30 caps...so take heart.Hope you find a good solution!!

I don't know much about mail order. I do know that around where I live, Target seems to have the lowest price on prescriptions.

Sounds like you're paying a bit too much. The online price quoted at Walgreens.com is $79 for 60 30mg tablets. Are you only taking one tablet daily and achieving good results? In my experience, C-II controlled substances such as the amphetamines are not available from Canadian pharmacies. One thing to remember about foriegn pharmacies, is that your script is just for reference. It has to be represcribed by a Canadian-licensed doctor before a Canadian pharmacy will ship it. (At least the non-pill-pushing legit pharmacies unless its a non-Rx med in Canada). Another thing to consider, if you don't make alot of money and you have no Rx insurance, is that most drug manufacturers have a Patient Assistance Program which will provide the medicine to you at a greatly reduced cost. For example, I take Ritalin LA and Dexedrine spansules for ADD. The Ritalin LA 40 mg #60 caps costs me $12 through the Together RX prescription discount provided by Novartis. Additionally, SmithKlineBeecham has a PAP called Bridges to Access and I'm enrolled in that, so I get brand-name Wellbutrin mailed to me free in 90-day supplies, and I pay just $10 co-pay for Dexedrine 15mg at the pharmacy each month. SKB's program as well as Together RX provide you with an RX BIN #, Member #, etc., that the pharmacy plugs into the computer when you get your scripts filled. This is how the discount is computed / calculated. Good luck.
