Greetings,
I came to this list months ago when I was considering, after ten years, going off the medications I was taking daily for bi-polar disorder. I doubted my diagnosis. Well, I took my last Depakote (the last of the four or five scripts I was taking) in early November and held my breath. But I feel just fine aside from some anxiety. (HAving ATivan and Klonipin at my fingertips for 10 years makes it kind of difficult to just give them up. What a security blanket!) In any case, I wanted to say thank you to the group for the support I've gotten through this process, especially the really thoughtful posts when I first posed my thought about wanting to get off the meds.
