I am not sure but do ADs cause weird food cravings. I have never drank as much soda before until I started taking Effexor. I went for a day or two without my dose and did not want a pop then I took a dose and wanted a pop right away, weird stuff.

I'm not sure about soda, but I drink alot of water!! I seem to be thirsty all the time. As for food cravings, I don't particularly have that at the moment (I've only been on Effexor for 2 weeks now). How did you go a day or two without your meds? Didn't you have side effects?

I crave the soda when I take xanax. It would never fail when I took them I would be craving pepsi like I was dying of thirst. When I took lexapro, I got this weird Lucky Charms craving. It was awful. I would eat that stuff off and on all day. I read somewhere about ADs and carbohydrate cravings. I think it affects our sugar levels or something. With lexapro the cravings are not that bad.
