Has anyone experienced side effects of paranoia while taking Tofranil? Or Zoloft? or any of the other Tricyclics or SSRI's?
Or can someone please help explain how these medications may increase dopamine levels?

I was diagnosed w/ PTSD, and Paranoia ...but rule out schizo affective disorder...whatever that is..
I just need to find as much info as possible. I've not been doing well. I originally went to doctor a year ago for depression....and have never experienced paranoia in my life.
But while on Tofranil and Zoloft...I started getting those effects....
I had been on Zoloft about 2-3 years ago...w/ no side effects...this time I got severe migraines from it.
Thank you for any help you could give.
