19 days on lex and still not noticing anything....

Posted by lillexgrrl on February 6, 2004, at 14:01:14

I have been on lex for 19 day and am still pretty much feeling the same. I am still tired all of the time and can't motivate myself through the day. How long did it take other people to notice a change. I am trying not to get discouraged, but I was hoping to notice at least a small change by now.

Hi Lillie,

One of the most frustrating things about lex is that it takes quite a while to kick in. There are several people on this board who didn't see results until week 9. For me, I didn't notice that I was getting better until week 5. I'm signigicantly less anxious than I used to be and my depression has lifted quite a bit too.

By day 19 I could tell that things were beginning to improve a little, but I was constantly tired and like you I was feeling unmotivated. I can assure you that you're going to improve soon.

I hear that Wellbutrin can help with feeling tired all the time. (I'm going to ask my doc about it at my next appointment.) It's very common to combine lex and Wellbutrin, many people have had positive results taking the two together.

I know how hard it is to play the waiting game with meds. But the results are worth it and you're patience WILL be rewarded.

K.
