What's the story with Celexa and Zoloft inhibiting libido - are these two any worse than the other SSRI's in this area? Thanks.

i have been on both celexa and zoloft (currently). i didn't have sexual problems with either of them--definitely no libido decrease; i felt so good not being depressed that i was ready to go all the time! the only problems i had orgasming were the few days after increasing dosage, which subsequently went away.
i know some people really get bad sexual s/e's, i just wanted to throw my 2 cents in b/c you may not be one of them. =)

All of the SSRIs are more or less equivalent in this area if one adjusts for potency. These are sexual EFFECTS, we're talking about here, not side effects. The fact that 10mg of Paxil can treat premature ejaculation is telling.

I have to disagree.
I have been on every SSRI there is and by far Prozac was the least sexually inhibiting with Paxil being the worst offender by far.
Paxil made me feel completely non-sexual and mentally dull as all @#$%.
Nasty stuff.
