I have been taking Remeron 15 mg for depression and insomnia, then Wellbutrin 200 mg for attention issues. I also have had horrible anxiety lately so my psychiatrist put me on Buspar 30mm too.
I read on another forum that Wellbutrin & Buspar may be a very bad combination, is this true?
Thanks.

> Thanks.I don't see anything wrong with it really, except for buspar's metabolite is noradrenergic and could have an additive effect with the wellbutrin, thus causing more anxiety.
personally, I've found amphetamines to cause much less anxiety than wellbutrin, but your doc may be against this since they are schedule II meds.. also, benzos are much better for anxiety then buspar, but he may be against this as well, especially if you request it.
perhaps he will put you on a benzo when you discover that buspar does not work very well; at least for most people this is the case..
