I lost most of my memory of my life and I am now confused about who I am. I think my name is micheal ryan. How do I find out for sure who I am? Talk to relatives? I have no family I am alone most of the time.

Well 3 years ago I started getting severe memory problems, then about a year ago I noticed I couldn't remember anything of my life. Every now and then I can remember certain things but they are very faint memories. I have few relatives and I live alone now. My birth certificate says I am micheal ryan but then I start thinking that maybe someone just gave it to me to make me think I was this person. I have no books or pictures of my life either so I have not a clue who I really am.

Yes, you definately need to see a psychiatrist, or a doctor. That is pretty significant memory loss. A doctor can request an MRI or CAT scan to see what is going on.
But the bottom line, is that this is not regular memory loss. A doctor can help you get your life straightened out again.
