Okay, let's face it- stims are great for giving you an attention span, but how you end up channeling that attention span is a whole different issue.
Has anyone stumbled upon, by chance, some med (antipsychotic, antidepressant, certain stim, straterra, aricept, whatever) that actually lets them feel like they're in control of themselves while on a stim, like they're productive without having to have their roommate through themselves into the library? I'm desperate here, I really am looking for something, and I'm hoping just throwing in something like a low dose antipsychotic like Abilify or Straterra with my Desoxyn will help me organize my life a bit. I try schedules, but I get caught up in things and before I know it I resort to all nighters to do papers every week, and I don't trust "ADD Coaching" will permeate my patheticness. I can barely convince myself to stop thinking and go to sleep on a set schedule, let alone do work during the day. Right now, I should be in bed, but I want to Google like crazy. I want this to end!!!
This is the end of the thread.
