well its week 8 and finally i'm about 75% better!! (might be 100% if i weren't broke/jobless??) i feel really motivated, want to get out and enjoy life.......
coincidentally, my doc changed clonazepam for lorazepam... and i finally started to feel like the first time i took parnate
increased libido
less need for sleep
decreased depression
increased motivationstrangely i had only mild versions of these while on lorazepam

Yay! That's great!I'm a little confused about the clonazepam/lorazepam switch. Did you stop clonazepam and replace it with lorazepam or was it the other way around?
Best wishes for a complete remission...

That's awesome! I am currently on clonazepam and have only experienced the sleepiness, but I have been that way most of my life. Why did you get off the clonazepam and how much were you taking? Did you notice any cognitive issues while on it?

Did you stop clonazepam and replace it with lorazepam or was it the other way around?went from taking perhaps 2mg of lorazepam 3 times daily to 2 mg clonazepam 2 times daily ... (i don't think these are equivalent doses, but it seems to work okay)

thanks bro... there is hope!
not only am i almost euthymic but i finally think my ADD and anxiety are under control as well so these 4 meds (abilify, parnate, clonazepam, ritalin) seem to be the magic bullet

ummm when i was taking clonazepam back in 2000 i think there were sleepiness issues but that may also have been because of the valporate or effexor i was taking, hard to say .... at times i would take more than normal and then there was certainly sleepiness issues (people thought i was drunk or on drugs)... but now that i'm on 3 activating drugs as well i am taking a dose perhaps twice as high and not having sleepiness problems
my doc supposedly took me off it for liver reasons, but i'm not sure he was being honest with me (no patient or doc i have talked to has heard of this)
for the record..... i was on lorazepam back in '97, then valium in 2000, then clonazepam later in 2000, then gabapentin in 2001, then clonazepam in 2002, then lorazepam in 2003, now clonazepam later in 2003
confused? :)

Would you mind sharing the dosages of each of your meds? I am currently taking Geodon and the much maligned Effexor and I am one happy camper...so far...can't quite get my concentration level up though...anyway, RIGHT ON and GOOD for YOU!!! Best success!!!

i have 4 possible beautiful girlfriends .............
okay maybe 5a few weeks ago i couldn't talk to even girls i was totally not attracted too... my voice would continually crack for one thing, arrrg
parnate + clonazepam kicks butt!!
(celexa + lorazepam also made me much less anxious, but it took away a lot of motivation)
