Any comments? Safe? Officially probably not, but experientially?
Anyone tried such a combo...any comments on the combo- Tramadol is ment to be an OCD smasher!

I'm interested in this combo too. It is possible, I guess, that the serotonin reuptake inhibition property of tramadol (Ultram) would cause serotonin syndrome when combined with an MAOI. You might want to scour Medline to look for anecdotes regarding untoward reactions.Be careful.

But he seemed OK, overall.
Have you heard off Tramadol's potential for euphoric effects?
Thanks,
Ace.

> Ace.hi Ace! Please be careful with this. My experience as Ive posted before with Parnate & codeine/immodium was really a nightmare. It took many weeks to recover cognitively. I was on a high dose of Parnate 100mg & took a very small dose of immodium (single tablet) and/or (probably and as Id taken both individually in the days prior with no problem) panadeine 2 tablets.
If you are going to do it maybe try a very small quantity of tramadol first to be sure it's ok.
take care

> Ace.this is a very interesting drug & I considered this as an alternative to buprenorphine. From my readings I believe that not everyone experiences euphoria on this drug. Supposedly very few should from what the manufacturer claims but of the 2 people I know who have used it apart from myself both had very intense euphoria from a single dose. I however experienced no euphoria at all when I tried it. After the 2nd dose I got drowsy but there was no pleasant buzz at all. :(
