day 6 2003.11.16 40mg - no tired spells at all today - already feeling as good as I ever did on lexapro - thinking about dropping .5mg klonopin and going to 10mg ambien - sleeping very restlessly
day 5 2003.11.15 30mg - not nearly as tired today - dropped from .75mg to .5 mg klon last night - mood up again slightly
day 4 2003.11.14 20mg - less tired each passing day - still unmotivated - missed work - still very slight increase in mood
day 3 2003.11.13 18mg woke 8:30am - tired but not as tired as yesterday - I think tiredness due to w/d from dex and not pnate - mood not improved - missed work - totally unmotivated - end of day slight mood increase
day 2 2003.11.12 17mg woke 10am - been tired all day - mood not improved - missed work - totally unmotivated
day 1 2003.11.11 to start today - took @ 15mg - just tight head - but did not miss dexedrine

Hi,
I was just wondering if you were using parnate for anxiety or depression? I have very bad anxiety and secondary depression, and am on parnate, find it makes me tired about 3 hours after taking it and stimulating at night. I have been using Klonopin for 6 years, only thin that has provided relief, and if you had tried Nardil before,
Thank You

both - makes me tired 3-4 hrs after taking also > so i spread the doses out - just quit klonopin last night - have never tried nardil but im pretty laid back as it is, anything that sedated me further would be a disaster.
how long have you been taking parnate and has it helped? what dose?

good luck,
wsj

You quit Klonopin? Well I have had some side effects with parnate so I have been going up and down between 10 and 30 mg..headaches, but I am trying to stay steady at 20 mg right now, I can be stubborn, and normally I dont'get side effects so I wanted Nardil, but I don't want to be heavily sedated, I have klonopin, but It has reduced my daily dosing..which was up to 2mg a day in .5 tabs. Been on that for 6 yrs. So you find it has helped your anxiety and calmed you a bit, or is it very stimulating at night? That is my problem, the stimulation at night time, as my anxiety has always seemd to be worse at night. Although the energy at night time is a bonus as well..What does are you on? My pharmacist said the s/e of the bad headaches, can take up to 4 months to go away, insomnia is probably just a given..Any info you can give would be awesome,
thanks again,
Good luck to you:)

yes - i quit klonopin on the advice of my pdoc - he thought the parnate would take care of my anxiety - so far so good > but i was only on klonopin for a couple months avg .75/day - insomnia is a problem right now > not sure its not more from klonopin w/d than parnate - i havent had any headaches

good luck,
wsj
