I have ADD, but typically I don't care to take a stimulant because of the bad crash/moodiness effect in the late afternoon/night. Can anyone explain to me what Strattera "feels" like?

It only feels like a stimulant at first, which stinks, but that wears off after a couple of weeks and then it doesnt feel noticeable. It just works on the mood, but not really in an and up and down way. I think your body adjusts to it then it evens out, unlike the stims

It doesn't feel like Ritalin or Adderall to me.
At first, I could tell when it was coming on. It took a lot longer to start each day than a stimulant. Later, that effect went away. I can still tell when it wears off, though. The anxiety it quells for me returns, but there is no rebound like others have described resulting from stimulants.
For some reason, it has started lasting longer now, though, after it's effectiveness period had shortened and shortened. I guess it can change.
This is the end of the thread.
