What differences may I expect increasing or reducing Zoloft dosage?
What dosage of Zoloft is more effective for anxiety?
Thank you.

dosages will vary alot regarding of subject and tolerans.
I found 50 mg to vanish my SP and depression at the beginning of treatment.some tell that high dosage of Zoloft will work on more dopaminergic pathways.
Im on my 4th year on Zoloft, at the present 200mg, and feeling fine. no depression, no SP, no anxious feelings and with a full spectrum of emotions and feeling operational :)Hope for your recovery!

Glad you are feeling fine, Mats!
I am asking this question because in the past I was on 50mg for a year and I felt great on it.
I am starting it again and the doctor told me to take 100mg now. I asked him why if 50mg was good. As he usually does, he just said that I would feel better this way.
Is it possible that 100mg will work with dopamine and cause me less sexual side effects?

well, I guess if you had sexual side effects at 50mg you will have them 100 mg to, maybe even to a grater extend.
Side effects tend do diminish after some time, that includes even sexual side effects.
For how long did you take zoloft? and why did you stop?
If that is a real issue to you, maybe augment with wellbutrin?

I was on Zoloft twice. First time I was on it for about 1 year and I stopped because it was time for depression/dysthmia/anxiety to have gotten better. I stopped it and I felt depressed again after about 3 months. To avoid sexual dysfunction, I tryed amisulpiride, but I didn´t get better. After this, on citalopram (no better). Then I started taking Prozac, felt good, and continued taking it for almost 2 years. I stopped because it was causing sexual dysfunction and I tryed Wellbutrin. I felt very anxious/depressed/nervous/irritated. Also MUCH interested in sex.
Then I was on Zoloft again, and on Effexor, Serzone, Trazodone, Ixel, Remeron and others... Effexor and Ixel worked for my depression, but also caused SexD as did Zoloft.
I just got back to Zoloft 7 days ago. I am still waiting to feel its benefits, that I am sure they will come soon. I wouldn´t like to stop taking it anymore, but having this genital without sensibility and this weak and hard to have orgasm, I know I won´t stay on it for long.
I still have a box with Wellbutrin SR 150mg. I am waiting to get better with Zoloft and then I will call my doctor and talk to him about this.
Do you think Wellbutrin taken with Zoloft may not cause the anxiety, nervousness, irritability it caused taken alone? What is the dosage?> well, I guess if you had sexual side effects at 50mg you will have them 100 mg to, maybe even to a grater extend.

Does taking welbutrin along with Zoloft lessen sexual dysfunction?
How long does it take to level out as far as side effects are concerned on zoloft ?
This is the end of the thread.
