Hi my friends,
I don't think i need presentations anymore. Thus most of you know me now.
Summary: 10 years ago i've been diagnosed bipolar II. Most of the time i was feeling fine and it was lasting.
My current meds are :
- Lithium -> 900 mg
- Lamictal-> 200 mg
- Effexor -> 150 mg
- Seroquel-> 25 to 50 mg at nightAnd Prevacid 30 mg. Last month I develop an ulcer due to extreme anxiety.
My friends, i'm suffering mentally and physically.
In the morning i'm unable (or almost) to get out of bed. During the night i'm unable to sleep unless i take more Seroquel. I have memory problems. During one moment i feel tired, sleepy. After that i have more energy and motivation but i feel panicy. On top of that, i'm feeling heavily melancholic.
This is the worst crisis i've never had. I had suicidal ideation. But my 2 little boys are there to keep my feet on earth. God bless them.
Ladies and gentlemen, do you have any suggestions? Clues? Comments?
My pdoc plans to increase soon my lamictal to 300 mg. Sounds good. But i fear the agitation it will bring. Do i have other alternatives?
Thanks to you!

I know you are already on what seems like a lot of medications, but perhaps adding an anti-anxiety (i.e. Lorazepam (Brand name Ativan), Clonazepam (Klonopin), Aloprazam (Xanex)), would probably be helpful for your panic attacks, as well as reducing the anxiety. Call your doctor immediately to talk about whats going on, especially since you are experiencing suicidal ideation. God bless you, and please keep me updated.

Thank you for your advices and wishes. I have already a prescription for clonazepam. It might be a good idea to take it.
Suicidal ideations are gone. I'm now in this semi-vegetative state. I'm very weak, tired and my brain is empty, with sometimes a free floating anxiety here and there.
I've been there, done that in the past. It might last weeks or months. We (pdoc and i) will do our best to overcome the beast quickly.
However, i'm under the impression my medication isn't working like before. Which amine is depleted? Which ones aren't working correctly? I will get my liver checked. A bad metabolization of this soup of meds can be a real disaster.
Bye.
This is the end of the thread.
