When I forgot and took 2x30mg of Adderall. I was sweating, and all of the above that you've mentioned. As a side-effect I recall nice euphoria for couple of hours ;-) But now I watch out how I take my medication (mostly after breakfast)

Without doubt! I asked my doc a few weeks ago and as he is pretty good and honest! he said yes!!
Iknow the aggression and irritability bit, if someone looks at me I want to say " what you looking at ****hole" and plant one on them!
Also some unpleasant fantasies such as beating up ex docs who shall we say were not helpful!
However a 25% dosage reduction has helped a lot.
There is also a positive side, my rejection sensitivity has gone from 9 on a scale of 1-10 to 0.5!
2 blind dates recently, both women were not interested and it bothered me very little, in the past I would have been devastated and self questioning for weeks!
Also far more self assured, if I can get rid of the irritability totally I will not want to give the stuff up for fear of losing the gains!

I am 100% sure that this is from overstimulation of the T2 seritonon receptor which results in the release of high levels of dopamine and plenylimaline.st Johns Wart can do this.

You bet! I once knew a woman who delighted in putting Prozac in "normal" people's drinks just to watch them go ballistic. ( She eventually wound up in the slammer when she switched to rat poison!) And yes, one dose frequently did the trick with the Prozac.

Ok the meds are 20 mg celexa, known as citalopram over here in the uk and 80 mg inderal, that is slow release propranolol.
Two very important points, firstly I took 3 months to get up to 20 mg, going in very small increments using the liquid.
Secondly these positive changes have taken a year to come on and have happened gradually.
It is also worth pointing out that I have qualified as a psychotherapist which included 5 years of individual therapy and three years of group, art and psychodrama. I have also had 30 cognitive therapy sessions and was described by my therapist as a very compliant patient, yet none of this had remotely the same positive benfits as the celexa.
The problem is that this "cosmetic psychopharmacology" is no where near an exact business and anyone taking the same combo as me might have no or negative effects.
Another effect for example has a positive and a negative side- delayed ejaculation, it may be somewhat frustrating for me, but it sure as heck makes me very popular with the ladies!

I had similar experience with Celexa. I really hated that med. I never had such xp with other meds.

It kills ppl.

Hi,
one of the effects of the antidepressant is to keep your self steam high. This means too that you may be not so tolerant anymore like you were before for social reasons or because you would be afraid of some results of exploding.
anyway...I advise u to try to control yourself because hurts someone will not help you.
Just remember that this is not you, just one effect of the medicine.
I wish you luck.

Thankyou for the reply, you are right, it is just getting that balance right between tolerating what you should not and being over the top!
Still at least I seem to have more of a choice now!

Glenn
